Brad Nellis, former owner and founder of Ashley's Pizzas in Carlisle and Elizabethville, opened the family friendly restaurant last week at the former Pizza Fresca.
The restaurant has been gutted and remodeled, parking lot resurfaced and new landscaping planted.
Orders are at the counter over lunch, tableside service in the evenings. Diners are welcome to bring their own bottles of wine.
Menu starts with appetizers such as antipasto platter, calamari and spinach and artichoke dip along with salads including chef, Caesar, steak and buffalo chicken.
There are calzones, several styles and varieties of pizza, and hot and cold subs. Entrees delve into Madelyna's Portofino with sauteed shrimp with mushrooms, artichokes, spinach, roasted tomatoes and garlic simmered in a lemon wine sauce over pasta; chicken marsala; eggplant parmigiana and several pasta sauces including alfredo, marinara and pesto.
